movie monday on a thursday.

The Mission

this is my 2nd favorite movie of all time (#1 being The Fountain)
i LOVE this movie.  it's beautiful & moving..it makes me cry every single time i watch it & i've watched it over 50 times.  i'm not super religious but i've always been around religion because of all the different schools i have attended.  this was shown to me in Bible class my Sr Year & i fell in love with it immediately & try to tell everyone i know to watch it. (i love Jeremy Irons too)

i LOVED it soooo much that on Oct 11th, 2008 i walked down the aisle on my wedding day to this wonderful piece of music "Gabriel's Oboe" the theme to the movie. it was the best moment of my life. i cry every time i hear it.

the song, "Gabriel's Oboe, The Mission Theme."

  3. What a cute dress! I've wanted those oxfords for AGES but could just never put the money down for them. They look great on you, and you totally don't look like a nerdy grandma :)

  7. The layers and the pattern are so cute in this outfit! I love how you styled the oxfords to be femme and a kind of contemporary take on 90s style (which is something that appeals to me greatly, of late).
