dress/brooch: etsy | belt: thrifted | shoes: uo

this is one of my favorite casual vintage dresses.
it is the type of dress where you just throw it on, add a belt, and your good to go.
this time around i decided to wear the dress backwards. (i know, i am so wild.)

we were done taking photos and were walking to our car from the woods and those beautiful deer were waiting for us.
(from afar of course) the mother deer had her ears up and we decided it was time to go.

since labor day is coming up i thought i would have a sale in the shop till monday night..
20% off with the code: LABORDAY

EDIT: i forgot to add the link of the post from when i wore this dress last..here it is.

  2. This outfit is so precious! Pink and mint is one of my favorite combinations (and I wish so badly that belt wasn't vintage so I could buy my own! lol)

And wearing things backwards is awesome! I've been doing it a lot lately and it's so fun (as long as the tag isn't itchy lol)

  7. Casual vintage dresses are the best! It seems like they're a little harder to find in good condition too. I love this one, especially the buttons and how you can wear it backward. The teacup pin and your mint belt are also really cute!

  9. Your dress is absolutely lovely Gee, it looks so comfortable too! I have been looking for a pattern similar to that to make a not-fully-fitted dress that covers my shoulders for our upcoming summer here, but haven't had any luck so far. xxx

  13. It looks fantastic on you! I've wanted to try wearing my dresses backwards, but I'm always hesitant to do it because I'm afraid people can figure out that it's backwards and looks wonky. I'll probably have to try soon anyways.

How awesome that you saw some deer!

  19. I'm a huge fan of plaid and like the muted colors of this dress. The sweet teacup brooch is a nice touch too. Lucky you for seeing these deer in the wild, I only see squirrels & rabbits here in Chicago.

  26. Dresses that can be thrown on and with very little ado look amazing are just perfect for the summer months. I'm just heading into spring/summer now (from New Zealand) so love seeing how you and many other vintage loving ladies keep things fresh!

And the photo of the deer got me all excited, I've never seen one before!
