this is one of my favorite casual vintage dresses.
it is the type of dress where you just throw it on, add a belt, and your good to go.
this time around i decided to wear the dress backwards. (i know, i am so wild.)
we were done taking photos and were walking to our car from the woods and those beautiful deer were waiting for us.
(from afar of course) the mother deer had her ears up and we decided it was time to go.
since labor day is coming up i thought i would have a sale in the shop till monday night..
20% off with the code: LABORDAY
EDIT: i forgot to add the link of the post from when i wore this dress last..here it is.
oh cuuute! I love deer! I like to wear a lot of my tops and dresses backwards too! some of them look so much better that way:)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so precious! Pink and mint is one of my favorite combinations (and I wish so badly that belt wasn't vintage so I could buy my own! lol)
ReplyDeleteAnd wearing things backwards is awesome! I've been doing it a lot lately and it's so fun (as long as the tag isn't itchy lol)
How cute are those dear?!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely dress, I would have never thought that you're wearing it backwards, you rebel! Those sandals are adorable as well!

ReplyDeleteholy moly, what a super cute dress!!!! I love the idea of wearing it backwards too!
ReplyDeleteCasual vintage dresses are the best! It seems like they're a little harder to find in good condition too. I love this one, especially the buttons and how you can wear it backward. The teacup pin and your mint belt are also really cute!
ReplyDeleteawww i love deer...so lucky you have access to woods near by. your dress is cute and totally doesn't look backwards...as long as it isn't stifling it totally works!
ReplyDeleteYour dress is absolutely lovely Gee, it looks so comfortable too! I have been looking for a pattern similar to that to make a not-fully-fitted dress that covers my shoulders for our upcoming summer here, but haven't had any luck so far. xxx
ReplyDeletea beautiful dress! belt is lovely too.

ReplyDeletei like your cute brooch, and what a good idea wearing something with buttons backwards!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic on you! I've wanted to try wearing my dresses backwards, but I'm always hesitant to do it because I'm afraid people can figure out that it's backwards and looks wonky. I'll probably have to try soon anyways.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you saw some deer!

I'm a huge fan of plaid and like the muted colors of this dress. The sweet teacup brooch is a nice touch too. Lucky you for seeing these deer in the wild, I only see squirrels & rabbits here in Chicago.

Very pretty! Those buttons marching down the front are sweet. I'd love to compare the front and back of the dress. Can you direct us to a post where you where it the other way around?
ReplyDeleteYou darling lady, you... I adore your little tea cup brooch! <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to wear a dress backwards! I would have never even known if you didn't tell us haha. I'll have to see if there are any dresses in my wardrobe I can switch around :)
ReplyDeleteDresses that can be thrown on and with very little ado look amazing are just perfect for the summer months. I'm just heading into spring/summer now (from New Zealand) so love seeing how you and many other vintage loving ladies keep things fresh!
ReplyDeleteAnd the photo of the deer got me all excited, I've never seen one before!
