tip of the day:
do not take pictures near a middle school at about 2:45-3:00 pm.
you will be trying to casually take outfit pictures minding your own business
and then the stop light will turn red...
you will look up and 10 school buses full of middle schoolers will be staring at you.
not only is it awkward but you will walk away with only 2 pictures
and a very happy husband because the photos went super quick.
I'll take the tip ahah.
ReplyDeleteBut at least those are two great pictures and your outfit is great! :)
i need those shoes. i need that skirt. and i need that jacket. why didn't h&m have that when iiiii wenttt?!?!? wahhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteThe colour of that skirt is divine!

ReplyDeleteI love how you mixed patterns here with the shirt and blazer and that you added a pop of color with the skirt and shoes. It's totally fab!

HAHAHA, Oh Gee, we've all been there and had these moments! Jeff and I took photos by a road once and two guys decided to honk a million times! Grr! Anyway, you look beautiful and I love your outfit! Stupid school buses ruining the blogging fun! :P
ReplyDeletethat's hilarious! i will remember this tip forever, thanks lades. haha
ReplyDeleteat least the 2 you got are stunning. wow, what a wall color, it's very complimentary to your whole look and my gosh are your eyes ever popping, crystal clear blue in the 1st one!
Haha, don't you just love moments like that (well not at the time but looking back at them), at least the two pictures you got were lovely! Really great outfit, lovely colours! :)

i love the colour of your skrit!! and the jackets print is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteLol. These two shots are so amazing! You're gorgeous and in a great outfit--that's probably why they were all staring :) Love that blue wall though! You should try again on the weekend hehe!
ReplyDeletehahaha that's funny! well the two that you did get turned out adorable.
ReplyDeletei love that wall!
haha i can imagine it would be quite funny, you still look lovely though, gorgeous colours
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you at least briefly captured this adorable outfit, though! I love the yellow skirt.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Oh man... I HATE when stuff like that happens when I'm taking outfit photos. That's why I've been taking mine inside all winter, although it's high time I started doing it outside again. I'm tired of the bad indoor lighting. These photos are still lovely, though, and I LOVE your shoes.
ReplyDeleteYou got two super cute pictures! I had to laugh when I was reading this because I was taking pictures a few days ago and had kids watching me from the windows of the school I live across from. I thought some of the pictures turned out better because I was really laughing at the whole situation. To make it even better I was totally alone with a tripod. haha! Anyway, you look sweet and the kids who saw you are lucky!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
So funny. But you look absolutely gorgeous, so they were all just jealous :) Funny comment above. Definitely good you were your husband and not a tripod :)
ReplyDeleteHaha funny!! Love your skirt!
ReplyDeleteAww I want this blazer, it's so adorable! Love the mix with the dotted blouse!
ReplyDeletelove the outfit!
ReplyDeleteAhaha - that tip is so true! I hate hate hate other people watching me while I'm posing, so embarassing!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you got a couple of snaps though - I adore this outfit - the mix of prints is perfection!
I´ll remember that, haha.
ReplyDeleteLove the mixing of prints though, lovely outfit!
xxx
Haha that's hilarious. I would be the same way. Awkkkwardddd. I can't stand taking outfit pictures with other people around.
ReplyDeleteYou look so beauitful though and I really wish you got a few more pictures! The colors in this outfit are so fantastic!
haha! I live right across the street from a middle school so I know exactly what you mean! It's best to be inside when school lets out, no matter what ;-D
ReplyDeleteThat background with the blue bricks is gorgeous, though, against your outfit! It's worth putting up with inquisitive teenagers to get some snapshots in that spot! :)
This is such a lovely outfit! That floral jacket is awesome, and I love the blue color of your heels!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, the same thing happens to me whenever I try to take pictures in my local park. Kids always show up and stare/laugh at me! Oh well. I think these pictures turned out great though :)
haha i had a similar embarassing situation at the wkend where a group of kids saw dave taking my picture and just yelled at us the whole time "why are you taking her picture" quckest photo session ever! :) x
ReplyDeletei love this yellow shirt, gee. I've been looking for one like it myself.
ReplyDeleteya know, i still find it embarassing when anyone spots me taking outfit photos so I would be just moritfied if all those kids were around. I'm glad the pictures came out well anyway!
xo
i wander, i wonder

ReplyDeleteI am absolutely loving your shoes!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! :)

ReplyDeleteAHHHH such a great outfit!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt! Adorbs!

Happy Monday! :)
ouch - unfortunate timing :) Kids aren't the easiest passers by to ignore.. well, pretty impossible :D
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely - the colours are awesome and I love your jacket and shirt together - great combination!
You are funny. That has happened to me before, but with adults who came rushing out of a building I thought was dead empty! Ugh. I've gotten a little more used to it - "Hi everyone, this is me and my tripod. No, I don't have an art project, No I haven't lost my mind, and NO I do not want you to take my picture (but thanks, that's nice of you to offer)". Hehe.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is beyond stunning.
What kind of camera do you have, darling?
Kristin xoxo

I literally am LAUGHING!!! I live right by a elementary school so I totally get it!!! Beautiful background you will have to go back to!
ReplyDeleteHaha hilarious. I only had to learn that lesson once, jr high students can be so cruel!
ReplyDeleteLoved your outfit. Perfect for the colder side of spring when youre dreaming of warm, sunny days!
i hardly ever have proper outfit photos for that exact reason! you look lovely (:

Hehe...gotta love the awkward stares. Nothing makes me feel more uncomfortable. Gotta say, I have these same shoes and you have totally inspired me to wear them with dark tights. The whole look is divine as always:)
ReplyDeletebut you haaaaad to go there. look at your outfit. look at the wall. look at your outfit. look at the wall. LOOK AT OUR SHOES AND THE WALL!!!!!
ReplyDelete(yes, I know you did that on purpose... but just LOOK!)
I bet all of those middle schoolers were admiring your beauty and uniqueness though!! Love those walls and it really causes the outfit to stand out!!
ReplyDeleteLol! Your little blurb for this post was too funny. I can't imagine anything more awkward than dozens of pre teens in their Beiber shirts staring at you from tiny bus windows. They probably wouldn't know what to do with someone rocking an amazing outfit like this! Seriously <3 what you did with my skirt. The color combination is just incredible :D
ReplyDeleteAlyssa
Mmmyes. I am a big fan of this outfit!!
ReplyDeletehahaha love this!
