movie monday.

Diving Bell & The Butterfly

if you have not seen this movie, you are missing out on a beautiful masterpiece. it is in my top 10 favorite movies of all times. it is a true story and i first read the book, which was pretty wonderful and i put off watching the movie for a long time. then i was home one rainy day and it popped up on HBO and i decided to watch it and my life was changed. it is in subtitles which most people hate. But when i'm watching any movie i always go to setup and put on the subtitles because people talk way to fast for me, and i don't want to miss anything. so i am use to it.

the movie is about Elle France Editor, Jean-Dominique Bauby. who in 1995 suffers from a full body stroke and is paralyzed everywhere except for his left eye. using his left eye he starts writing his memoir.

the trailer really doesn't do the movie justice.

I'm moving it to the top of my Netflix list. I always turn on the subtitles, especially in British flicks. My husband hates it, but he deals.
