this is not a fourth of july outfit.
i actually wore this last thursday not even realizing that the holiday weekend was coming up.
what i actually wore on the forth of july were some lovely old pajamas and enjoyed a tv marathon of one of my favorite shows..
I Love Lucy.
Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteI like the dress and the red shoes, you look very chic.
I always look forward to your quotes above every post! I think this one may be one of my favorites because Lucille Ball is quite the lady. And I love this "non-Fourth" of July outfit. The length of your dress is absolutely perfect and the little pop of color from your red sneakers is the cherry on top! xx
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty! I love your outfit, especially the awesome sunglasses and adorable wicker bag!

You're so lovely! I need a purse like that.
ReplyDeleteWhen do you not look adorable Gee?! I am loving the red sneaks with the dress. I used to do the canvas sneaker/dress combo all the time in college...hmm, maybe I need to get in the habit of doing it again. Way more comfy than heels:) The headscarf is sweet. You are darling and definitely channeling Lucille Ball. Have the most lovely weekend dear!
ReplyDeletesuch a cute bag!!

ReplyDeleteI don't want to sound older than I am, but it pisses me off SO MUCH that Nick-at-Nite plays That 70's Show and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. You've got to be kidding me. WHAT? When I was little, I watched Bewitched and Laverne and Shirley, and I Love Lucy, and the MUNSTERS! Such fun, old shows - that weren't so tongue-in-cheek perverse. Blegh.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL! Sorry for ranting.
Aw I love the pop of color! This dress is so flattering; I know you mentioned a while back that you've lost some weight- you look great! I'm trying as well, and it's so hard to stay dedicated!

ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourites of yours! You look so effortlessly 50s glam, and I'm all into comfortable shoes at the moment (and of course, headscarves). Just beautiful my dear. xx
