"sometimes i can hear my bones straining under the weight of all the lives i'm not living." extremely loud & incredibly close -- jonathan safran foer (my favorite read of 2010.)
That is one of my favorite quotes of all time. I haven't read that book yet, but it's the next on my list after I finish Everything is Illuminated. Jonathan Safran Foer has the most amazing quotes!
And again, with your perfect sunlighting! I'm jealous of this "gene" you have where sun bounces right off your skin making such a pretty picture. Oh wait, YOU are wait makes a pretty picture! Hehe, you look lovely!
You look completely beautiful m'dear. You sure know how to make a pair of heels look good. Ps - I really love the quotes you include with each post. Each one is so beautiful and thought provoking.
Ooooo, very haunting quote. I love the juxtaposition of the brightness of your dress and cardi with the graveyard. Truly beauitful, on more than one level :)
Oh my goodness! You look so stunning..these colors look so good on you especially with this back drop. Ah, these photos are so dreamy! Have a great weekend!
Remarkable photos my dear! These colours together are surprisingly beautiful! They contrast so well and I love how your peter pan colour peeks out! You look wonderfully old-fashioned too!
Oooooh, look at you lookin' so ladylike. When I was little my mom had lots of heels like that and would put them on and think that I was such a lady and that when I grew up I would only wear shoes like them. Yeah, still waiting for it to happen to me.
oh woah, I just came across your blog and spent the last hour going through all your pages, you have the most stunning wardrobe. I love your bright 1950's style. Im trying to introduce brighter colours into my wardrobe and you do it so perfectly. I just became a follower for more inspiration hahaha. hope you have an amazing 2011.
I love this outfit. The colors and lengths are beyond perfect. I just discovered your blog and loved looking at all your posts, you have amazing style!
This is so beautiful! I do love the length of the dress on you. Gorgeous! Funny thing, I just did an outfit shoot with red and yellow too. Haha..great minds must think alike. I love the mint shoes with the outfit (I have the same ones..so you have totally inspired me.). Have a lovely weekend darling! Xx Marisa
GREAT HEELS. They look so feminine but walkable, too! And did you tie that scarf like that or did it come that way?? Either way it's so unique, I love it!
I like not being on blogger all weekend and having this be my first post to really come to! The length of that dress is to die for, and I love the spring like shades. Definitely a nice offset to the snowy background.
absolutely beautiful! I love that dress/skirt.. I can't manage to pull off something that long.. maybe it's because of my hair? I want it to grow out so badly! Yours is glorious! :)
this is so ladylike and lovely. i swear, you have the prettiest clothes! & i love the way you've tied your cardigan, just a warning, i'll probably steal that idea! <3
I love this outfit not only because of the color pairing, but because its completely different from what I've been seeing everywhere. The short cardigan with the long dress and heels is just perfect. Love it :0)
